Get Centered Before You Teach Your Next Yoga Class

When you’re a yoga teacher, it’s helpful if you’re not the most stressed-out person in the yoga room!

Life has always thrown us curveballs, and it seems like there’s a curveball around every corner these days.

It’s even more normal that you might arrive at yoga class frazzled, emotionally drained, depressed, or out of sorts.

In the early days of my career, getting to my classes in NYC involved muggy subway commutes, deafening sirens, riding my scooter through traffic, and maneuvering through crowded sweaty streets, often rushing to be on time.

To this day, taking a meditative moment to ground and drop into myself before class has become a ritual. And now it’s more needed than ever. Getting centered first helps me release the tension of whatever it is I’ve been going through and make myself a vessel for the divine to lead the way.

My aim?

Think and stress less.
Channel more.

To that end, I filmed a meditation for you to use before you teach!  Play it to help get out of your head and into your heart before teaching your next yoga class.

Happy “vesselifying”!

And leave us a comment about how your next class goes!
