Amy Ippoliti, a gifted teacher’s teacher, has been leading yoga teacher trainings since 1999. Her students have gone on to become leaders, authors, conference presenters, and teacher trainers in the yoga world – both in the United States and all over the globe! She is revered for her innovative methods that bridge the gap between ancient yoga wisdom and modern-day life, helping yoga students “turn up their own volume.”
Taro Smith, PhD
Co-Founder & Adjunct Faculty
A scientist, yoga teacher, author, photographer, and conservationist, Taro has over two decades starting, operating and developing innovative organizations in the health and wellness fields. He was instrumental in bringing exercise prescriptions as a standard of care in aging and chronic disease in the medical community. Through his medical centers and scientific research he demonstrated the significant cost benefits of movement-based interventions in clinical settings.
Douglas Brooks, PhD

Dr. Douglas Brooks is a scholar of Hinduism, south Asian languages, and the comparative study of religions. He lived in India with his teacher, Dr. Gopala Aiyar Sundaramoorthy, for many years studying and practicing Srividya, Auspicious Wisdom, and the modern traditions of goddess-centered Tantra. Currently Professor of Religion at the University of Rochester, he holds both Masters and his doctoral degrees from Harvard University.

She tours the globe, training students in the Sanskrit Studies Method and the Luminous Soul Method.
